I'm raising funds to support seriously ill children and their families!

I have created this page because I want to make a difference, just as Ronald McDonald Nepean Family Room have made a difference to so many lives. I want to support them by raising money so they can continue their amazing work. I have experienced first-hand the amazing work that they do. Bek and I were facing the possibility of having to drive to and from the hospital when our son was admitted to the NICU, but we were lucky enough to be given a room by RMH. Meaning we didn’t have to spend our nights too far away from our newborn and that valuable feeding routines etc. could be set up, greatly shortening our stay. For the duration of our stay there the volunteers were a constant positive support and the rooms a sanctuary for many families who were going through a much tougher time than any parent ever should.

Every year, over 2000 families from regional and rural Australia rely on the support of Ronald McDonald House Charities GWS to provide a home-away-from-home whist their seriously ill or injured child receives critical care and treatment.

On average, it costs Ronald McDonald House Charities GWS $160 to support a family for one night. So please give what you can to ensure these families can stay together, close to the care their child needs.
