As well as the uncertainty and fear, there’s added stress for families who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs. RMHC Wagga provide families with a 'Home away from Home' giving them a comfortable space to rest and recharge before heading back to the Hospital, and best of all the family can stay together and close to their loved one in Hospital.
We also provide our Family Room located in the Paediatric ward of the Wagga Base Hospital, this room allows parents and siblings access to much needed snacks and refreshments along with bathroom & laundry facilities.
