Attention all Ronald McDonald Runners and Catalyst Callers - we need YOU!
For the first time in our states, RMHC VIC & TAS will present a very special one day online fundraising event bringing together Victorians & Tasmanians from all walks of life to support seriously ill children and their families in the most difficult of times.
From midday 3rd June – midday 4th June 2021 together, we will celebrate the spirit of the Victorian & Tasmanian community from every region across the two states over 24 hours with stories, live online guests and a lot of fun!
The most exciting part is the online matched donations. Together with our outstanding Matched Giving Day Partners, every dollar donated will be doubled but not without the help of you!
Our Matched Giving Day is an experience that will give Victorians & Tasmanians a feeling of making an even bigger impact in the lives of families in need of support and it cannot be done without the support of our volunteer community.
We are looking for a group of communication champions who will in turn play a crucial role in creating a state-wide impact on seriously sick kids and their families.
How can YOU help?
We have two roles for our volunteers to play throughout our 24 hour campaign:
- Ronald Runner (don’t worry no running involved!)
- Catalyst Caller
Ronald Runner
Be on your feet and ready to go as one of our Ronald McDonald Runners. Our 24-hour fundraiser starts and ends with you by our side. This role is for the activewear-ers, the list-writers and the go-getters and will include:
- Did someone say set up?! Set up and pack down has never looked better, we’ll get the music pumping and you get the rooms ready for the biggest fundraiser ever.
- Snacks anyone? Donators, corporates, staff and you need to keep fueled, you’ll oversee food and drink preparation and restock throughout the days
- The legs for our callers - whilst our callers are on the phone they’ll need your help! Water bottle refill? More paper? You’re there in a flash with everything they need!
Catalyst Caller
Chatty-Cathy? Ramble-Rhonda? Talkative-Terry? This one’s for you! Donations don’t roll in without you. You have our permission to get chatting - corporate affiliations, volunteers, past families and many more are waiting for your call. Give them a buzz and ensure they don’t miss out on being a part of the biggest fundraiser ever!
