Meet Scout and London.
Like most brothers, Scout & London have a lot in common. The brothers love the outdoors, playing with cars, trucks, but the truth is, they’re pretty happy doing almost anything as long as they’re doing it together.
But one thing that set's these brothers apart from most, is they were both born with cleft lips and palates and Pierre Robin syndrome.
The pair have spent much of the first part of their lives in hospitals. But with the help of Ronald McDonald House, they’ve been able to have their parents and each other nearby. Ronald McDonald House has become their home for 145 nights.
“It has made the tough times a lot less stressful knowing that we had somewhere comfortable and safe to stay close to the hospital that was also child friendly. We will be forever thankful.” - Nicole, Mum of Scout and London.
It is families like Scout & London's that are the inspiration for why the ACN Conference continues to support Ronald McDonald House Charities GWS, and it is an event that many look forward to.
Amidst the uncertain year that the global health crisis has given us, we have unfortunately had to cancel all face-to-face events - but that isn't stopping our support for this amazing cause.

About Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney
By donating to Ronald McDonald House Charities GWS, you're giving a seriously ill or injured child the best gift of all – their families.
The Westmead House provides a warm and supportive home-away-from-home for families who need to travel to Sydney Hospitals for their child's critical care and treatment. Creating a safe and welcoming environment where families can stay connected, and parents can communicate more easily with their child's medical team.
On average, it costs Ronald McDonald House Charities GWS $160 to support a family with a sick child for one night. Thanks to generous supporters like you and the wider ACN community, over 2,100 families from regional and rural Australia are supported each year.
