Ride for Sick Kids SA

Training done

Just days away from the start, and training is done.

Been another year of early starts, long roads, cold winds, frost, fogs, and swooping magpies; but there has also been good company, amazing sunrises, patient motorists and an amazing supportive community.

Thanks for donating to a charity I hold so dear, a charity full of people who recognised a fathers fear, bolster a mother resiliance and determination, and try to retain a childs innocence in the face of adversity.

Thanks to everyone for getting me here.

Winter Training

Part of the challenge/fun is training through the Winter months, cold, wet, dark is more fun on the mountain bike with mates. Nice clear night cruising the trails is a fun break from road riding and safer on the trails when it's dark.

Team EP loving the support we are getting, training hard for a good cause and our focus on helping regional families who are doing it tough.

"A river starts with a rain drop"

The excitement begins

Since experiencing the ride last year I have been inspired to have another go this year.

This charity has truely touched our heart as we have experienced their gift first hand. While we no longer have to use the home I know a great deal of regional families do.

So I will be keeping up the fitness and doing what I can to raise some well needed fund for Ronald McDonald House Adelaide.

If you are able to help me out it will be greatly appreciated.

A river starts with a rain drop!

Please support me keep families together when they need it most

When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can have a devastating impact on families. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there’s added stress for families who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs.

I’ve signed up for the challenge to ride 1,000 across regional South Australia this November because I want to make a difference to children with serious illness and disabilities and their families who stay at Ronald McDonald House Adelaide.

The House relies upon community support and fundraising in order to provide accommodation and support services to hundreds of families every year.

Please make a donation to me so that we can continue to reduce the financial burden of families who have to travel to Adelaide with their children for treatment.
