Help support us in RMHC® Ride for Sick Kids Victoria
As many of you already know, Alfie (Leigh’s son, Stef’s nephew), was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017. He spent months in hospital at both Monash Children's and Royal Children's. Alfie fought until the very end but unfortunately lost his battle in June last year. Throughout his time in hospital RMHC provided a number of services to help make the most difficult time just a little bit easier for the family. So now we want to help give back to them and will be thinking of Alfie the whole way.
In March 2019 the RMHC® Ride for Sick Kids Victoria will see a team of more than 40 riders cycle 300kms across Victoria with the aim to raise $250,000 to help keep families close to their seriously ill child. The Ride for Sick Kids team will take on the iconic Great Ocean Road, cycle through Geelong, the Otway Ranges region and finish in Melbourne. While the riders will be hurting physically on the ride, it’s all for a great cause – to help keep our doors open to families when they need us the most.
Join us in spreading the word about RMHC® Ride for Sick Kids Victoria by sharing with your friends, family and colleagues - every donation both large and small ensures RMHC® can support more families.
Thank you for your generosity!
