Ride for Sick Kids Northern NSW 2020

Help support me in my Ride for Sick Kids with RMHC® NNSW

When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can have a devastating impact on families. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there’s added stress for families who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs.

In September 2020 I’m joining the Ride for Sick Kids for Ronald McDonald House Charities, Northern NSW with a team of around 30 riders to cycle over 500kms from Grafton to Newcastle with the aim to raise

Together, we aim to raise $200,000 to help sick kids and their families.

Last year 689 families from Northern NSW were given a "home away from home" at our Ronald McDonald Houses in Newcastle and Tamworth so they could be near their child in hospital.  Over 5,000 families took a break from their child's hospital bedside in one of our Family Rooms.  142families were able to relax, reconnect and create precious memories together with a week's free holiday at the Family Retreat in Forster.  And 163 students were able to catch up on their missed education through the Ronald McDonald Learning Program.

Join me in spreading the word about Ride for Sick Kids Northern NSW by sharing with your friends, family, and colleagues - every donation both large and small ensures Ronald McDonald House, Northern NSW can support more families.

Thank you for your generosity!
