Please join my journey to help raise funds for Ronald McDonald House
Hi everyone! This year I am challenging myself to ride the Great Ocean Road as part of Ride for Sick Kids Vic 2019 to raise much needed funds for Ronald McDonald House.
As most of you know our family spends a lot of time in Melbourne at the Royal Childrens Hospital and without Ronald McDonald House Parkville we would not be able to stay together as a family unit. Our daughter Sophie was most recently admitted over the Christmas/New Year and we are so thankful that we were able to spend Christmas together by staying at Ronald McDonald House.
Please help me reach my target of $4000 to help keep rooms open for other families in similar situations, so they may have the comfort of knowing they can be close to their child during their medical treatment.
Help support me in RMHC® Ride for Sick Kids Victoria
When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can have a devastating impact on families. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there’s added stress for families who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs.
In March 2019 the RMHC® Ride for Sick Kids Victoria will see a team of more than 40 riders cycle 300kms across Victoria with the aim to raise $250,000 to help keep families close to their seriously ill child. The Ride for Sick Kids team will take on the iconic Great Ocean Road, cycle through Geelong, the Otway Ranges region and finish in Melbourne. While the riders will be hurting physically on the ride, it’s all for a great cause – to help keep our doors open to families when they need us the most.
Join me in spreading the word about RMHC® Ride for Sick Kids Victoria by sharing with your friends, family and colleagues - every donation both large and small ensures RMHC® can support more families.
Thank you for your generosity!
