My Activity Tracking
My target 500 kms
2 weeks done !!!!!
2 weeks down & 243km done - with still 2 weeks & 257km to go. I am a little behind where I was hoping to be, but hopefully will have a few more good weeks and smash the 500km target by 30 September. My back is slowly getting better, so hopefully the remaining few weeks will be good riding.
A huge thanks to everyone who has come on board and helped support me for this effort – my original goal was to raise $500 and ride 500km. There has been great support from a heap of local businesses & families which has been amazing to see. A huge thanks to:
- F&C Glass
- Northrop Consulting Engineers
- Novolec Electrical
- Kyle Archibald
- EJE Architecture (a company which has been a big supporter of the house for a very long time)
- Amanda Plunkett
- Katie Chalker
- Mullane Plumbing & Prophase Electrical
- Zeal Plumbing
- Retro Air
- Dave & Michele Collins (Dave is also a much fitter & very patient riding partner….)
- Robert Macindoe
- Space Design Architecture
- Mark & Kathy Queenan
- And of course – The Collaborative Construction Solutions team
As a result of these great people & businesses we have currently raised $3,896 which is brilliant - so now I have sent a new goal $5,000 & 500km…………..
Thanks again everyone – and for those wondering, yes the bloody swooping magpies are out there too…..
First week done !
Firstly thanks to all those who have got behind me and sponsored me for this great cause - it is really appreciated.
One week down and it was tougher than I had hoped. Week started off great, with a good 60km ride on day one, but then I hurt my lower back, making riding pretty painful - I managed to get on a spin bike in the gym a few times to get a few km done, but is pretty mind numbing.....
Hoping week 2 will be a lot better !
Help support me in RMHC® Ride for Sick Kids 2019
When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can have a devastating impact on families. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there’s added stress for families who don't live close to the medical care their child needs.
Help me raise much needed funds through the Ride for Sick Kids 🚴♀️🚴♂️, with your efforts making an impact on the lives of children like Poppy.
Ronald McDonald House Charities is 100% community owned and operated, with every dollar making a big difference.
