Families like Alexis's need your support!

At just 4 years old, I stayed at Ronald McDonald House in Wagga Wagga with my grandparents for about a week while one of my family members needed medical treatment. The staff and volunteers at Ronald McDonald House made a huge impact on my family, providing us with support and care we needed at this difficult time. Fast forward 16yrs later, I fell pregnant with our 1st child and everything appeared to be great, then I started experiencing complications that required me to stay in Canberra for weeks.

Financially and emotionally stressed, my partner and I were grateful to find a room at Ronald McDonald House, which provided us with support and peace of mind during a difficult time. We were then able to come closer to home and stay at Ronald McDonald House Wagga.  The staff at Wagga made our transition back extremely smooth and showed genuine care for everyone staying at the House.

We will forever be grateful for the support and love we received from Ronald McDonald House and its community. Our healthy baby boy, Byron, was born on December 14, 2023, after a month-long stay at the House, we were excitied to head home and settle in finding our feet as a family. Ronald McDonald House Wagga will always hold a special place in our hearts and family story and we will forever be grateful for their support and care during a difficult time.
