Now in its 9th year, the Ride for Sick Kids team will take on the iconic Great Ocean Road, cycle through Geelong, the Otway Ranges region and finish in Melbourne.
While the riders will be hurting physically on the ride, it’s all for a great cause – to help keep our doors open to families when they need us the most.
Each year over 40 riders take on the physical challenge of cycling through Victoria and raising over $250,000 to help keep families close to their seriously ill child.
When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can have a devastating impact on families.
As well as the uncertainty and fear, there’s added stress for families who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs. RMHC® has a wide range of programs which help families to stay together so they have the support of loved ones when they need it most.
