When Ozzie had to undergo treatment for lymphoblastic leukaemia, staying at Ronald McDonald House was a lifesaver and allowed his parents to be by his side to make sure he continued to be brave and happy, despite the challenges of his treatment.
Ronald McDonald House Charities help keep families together.
And now we’re asking local gyms to help us, to help kids like Ozzie! All you need to do is get involved with the Ride for Sick Kids.

Fun Ways for Gyms to Get Involved
Create a Gym-wide Goal
Encourage members to swap out their normal routine for a short ride, and tally all kilometres ridden whilst fundraising for the event.
Create a Leaderboard
Motivate members with some healthy competition, by recording the kilometres ridden by participants in the month of September.
Spin Classes for a Cause
Create even more of a reason for members to join Spin Classes, whether its in the gym or a virtual spin class. With their total kilometres ridden within each class going towards their individual goal or the Gym's overall tally.
Who do YOU ride for this September? We ask all participants to use the hashtag #IRideFor to bring light to an individual's or family's story.
Below are the stories of Poppy, Ozzie and Bridgette, three brave children who have spent time with us at the Ronald McDonald Houses. Find out more about their journeys, and be sure to share them by using the hashtag!
